A group of scientists have built a machine that induces sleep in a patient with psychic abilities and connects them to a malevolent object. The cursed object will try to defend itself with entities, kicking off the paranormal terror in Project Nightmares.
The Story: Investigating Cursed Objects
The story of Project Nightmares follows a group of scientists, specialized in the paranormal, who developed a machine that allows them to induce sleep in a patient with psychic abilities and connect them to a malevolent object. This allows the team to investigate objects, discover their history, and try to eradicate their evil. The game will consist of several cases to solve through an episodic format. In this installment, the developers show us the case of Henrietta Kedward, where a toy with a dark and sinister past connects you to this terrible old woman, plunging you into a nightmare set in her era, surrounded by terror and mystery.

The goal in Project Nightmares is to find clues to solve each case without dying. Using a first-person view, you must explore each level to solve puzzles and find notes and hidden places. You need to move quickly but also be stealthy. The cursed object will try to defend itself with paranormal entities, so you have to be careful because the body cannot live without the mind. If you die in the dream plane, you die in reality. The good news is that the level is created so that the gameplay experience changes constantly; beyond the excellent linear story, you never know what will happen.
Technical Details: Unity 5, VR, and Development

Project Nightmares is being developed by NC, an independent team founded by Argentineans Ignacio Berge and Claudio Suriano, and will be available on Windows. There is currently no concrete release date, but you can give your vote on Greenlight to help it reach Steam.
