Children are naturally curious and constantly ask questions, often leaving adults without answers. That's why we're presenting two programs that help kids learn science in a fun way. These environments teach basic concepts about nature and the world around them, improving children's communication, identification, and memory skills. The platforms are free and available in the Windows 10 store, so you can use them on any device running Windows.
Kids Games Learning Science
With Kids Games Learning Science, children will learn the basic principles of science in an easy way, with a colorful and well-designed interface. The environment includes the following games:
- Health (healthy eating habits)
- Help Me Grow (plant life cycle)
- Mom and Baby, Home Sweet Home (animal habitat)
- Float or Sink, States of Matter, Know Your Senses
- Scratch to Reveal
Through a train, the child will take a journey that takes them through the different games (stations). Each game teaches children different science-related topics about the world around them. To track the child's progress, you'll find statistics in the top right corner showing the child's score.
Science for Kids
Science for Kids is a very good platform for children to learn science while playing. Its interface is divided into four sections: Scientific Experiments, Scientific Careers, Science Songs, and Science.
The sections feature several scientific experiments where the child can choose elements to perform experiments such as generating static friction, making an egg float in water, creating a volcano with vinegar, making dry ice bubbles, melting chocolate, and more.
You'll also find exercises where children become marine biologists, geologists, engineers, astronomers, and more.
With these two platforms for kids to learn science, your children will find all the answers to their questions.
