The giants of the market are frantically racing to present something based on artificial intelligence models, but they are not the only ones working in that field. The team at Futuri believes that the relationship between radio and artificial intelligence holds enormous potential, and their project is called RadioGPT, which combines GPT-3 technology with a proprietary content-generation system and artificial voices.
Last year we talked about the Dead Internet Theory. That theory suggests that a large part of the content on the Web was not created by humans, but by a giant network of artificial intelligences. Its conclusions seemed ridiculous in February 2022... but now we have ChatGPT, which can maintain conversations, pass exams, and generate a lot of garbage.
So, what comes next? The team at Futuri has a rather curious answer: Radio. Traditional signals have done everything possible to adapt to the dynamics of the Web and social media, but Futuri goes further with a platform completely controlled by AI, including dynamic script generation and artificial announcers. Its name is RadioGPT.
RadioGPT: Artificial Intelligence Arrives at Radio
**RadioGPT** is a combination of **GPT-3** from OpenAI and a proprietary "content discovery" system called **TopicPulse**. Essentially, TopicPulse scans Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and *more than a quarter of a million additional sources* to obtain news, trends, and other local information. The role of GPT-3 is to compile that data *and create a script for live reading*. Finally, that work is handled by one or more *artificial announcers*, or alternatively, stations can train models with the voices of their hosts.
As a supplement, **RadioGPT** can generate social media posts, write blogs, and prepare content for other digital platforms. One of TopicPulse's add-ons is the *Instant Video* short-form creator, and Futuri also offers *POST*, which takes the on-air signal and automatically converts it into a podcast.
