Sensa Emoji: Free, Vector, and Open Source Emojis

From something as simple as editing a photo to developing apps and online services, sooner or later we'll need additional resources. Many designers decide to create their own to avoid conflicts, but the web offers a healthy number of icon and font packs that are quite friendly in legal terms. Now we can add a series of free emojis, courtesy of the folks at Sensa. There are more than 300 emojis available, they're vectorized, and they have an open source profile.

If you need to design something and feel you don't have the right material, don't despair. For example, if you want to download free vector icons, the Flaticon portal has millions of options for you. Another alternative is the Tilda Icons megapack, with more than 700 icons divided into 47 sets. And specifically for photos, you can't miss our list of image banks with CC0 licenses or public domain. However, a piece is missing from the puzzle, and it's the one that represents free emojis. Where can we get them?

The folks at the Sensa design studio, specialized in creating and optimizing brands and products, offers on its official page a pack with more than 300 free and open source emojis, fully vectorized and in PNG and SVG formats. No need to create accounts or register in any way. In fact, Sensa doesn't even ask for an email address to access the downloads.

There are two options available: a standard zip file to use in Sketch or any other environment, and another with .fig extension, compatible with the Figma vector editor. In turn, the zip stores all content in two folders, one for SVG and another with PNG versions in two sizes, 1x and 2x (equivalent to 80x80 and 160x160). All emojis use their official descriptions as file names, so it won't be hard to identify them.

In short, Sensa Emoji gives us more than 300 free emojis at a click's distance. Beyond the open source profile, personally I'd like Sensa to clarify the license details a bit, but I imagine there shouldn't be too demanding requirements. What are you waiting for? Download the pack!
