Extracting text can go from a routine task to a mission impossible in record time, and it all depends on the original format. More than once we've tried to copy text from an image or a locked document, but using the right tools, we can always take advantage of the magic of OCR. The main capture modes in Text Grab are two: Full-Screen and Grab Frame. Full-Screen works similarly to screenshots but focuses only on the text. On the other hand, Grab Frame creates a kind of overlay or transparent layer that you can place over the text, then capture by clicking on each word.
Text Grab also offers two additional resources: an editing window and a quick search system. The editing window is very useful for correcting potential capture errors (OCR is never perfect, after all) and making other advanced modifications, while quick search is like a 'memory aid' for storing text you use frequently, such as numbers, URLs, and more.
