Text to Color is a program that encodes the text written in its interface into Bitmap text, so you can hide text in any Bitmap image, which can later be decoded by the same environment.
What the platform does is represent three letters in a pixel, and by scanning all the letters it forms the Bitmap image.
How to use Text to Color
Once downloaded, you will see its simple interface, from which you can encode secret text in a very simple way: first you have to write any kind of text at the top and then click “Encode Text” and then you just save the image on your computer.
Then, to decode a Bitmap image, you have to click on “Load Image…” and upload the image to the platform, and then click on “Decode Image” and the platform will save a text file with the decoded text.
What to know before you rely on it
We should point out that Bitmap is not steganography that hides text in an existing image. What the utility does is create an image from the text you enter. Nor is the image password-protected; any user who has the environment will be able to read the text.
The platform really offers a simple way to encode text into Bitmap and decode it back to text, and although it does not have another security system such as a password on the image, it is a very good option that promises improvements.
