Taking advantage of the great pop culture event that is San Diego Comic-Con, 20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the highly anticipated spy comedy where Eggsy continues his battle to save the world.
A few months ago we told you about the release of the highly anticipated Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the sequel to the spy and action comedy Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014). In this sequel, our heroes face a new challenge when their headquarters is destroyed and the world is taken hostage. Now the British agents must travel to seek help from an allied spy organization in the United States called Statesman. These two elite secret organizations join forces to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that is slowly becoming a habit for Eggsy.
Premiered at San Diego Comic-Con, the new trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle is loaded with action, featuring explosions, hand-to-hand combat, and a man cut by a laser lasso (below you can see the trailer in red band version). There are also some scenes of Harry back in action, a sign that he is really in his right mind despite the ending he had in the previous film. A striking detail of the American Statesman agency is that its agents, instead of dressing as gentlemen, adopt the culture of the Wild West with cowboy suits and using aliases of drinks of the time like Tequila and Jack Daniels / Whiskey.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle features a cast led by Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges, among others. Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn wrote the screenplay, based on the comic The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. Produced by Marv Films and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class), Kingsman: The Golden Circle will be released in theaters on September 22, 2017.
