The Secret Agents Return in Kingsman: The Golden Circle
Kingsman The Golden Circle

If you enjoyed Kingsman: The Secret Service, then you're already counting down to September for the imminent sequel. The secret agents return in Kingsman: The Golden Circle with a new mission packed with action and fun, as seen in an incredible trailer.

Kingsman: The Secret Service introduced us to Gary "Eggsy" Unwin, a young man who joins Kingsman, an independent and international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, with the ultimate goal of keeping the world safe. After successfully completing a mission in which he faced a global threat from a wealthy megalomaniac, Gary now has to prepare to face a new challenge in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. When their headquarters is destroyed and the world is held hostage, his journey leads him to discover an allied espionage organization in the United States called Statesman, which dates back to the day both agencies were founded.

In a new adventure that tests the strength and wit of its agents to the limit, these two elite secret organizations join forces to defeat a ruthless common enemy known as Poppy, a notorious criminal and member of the new secret world order group The Golden Circle. Fortunately, Eggsy won't be alone and will have the help of his trainer Merlin and his best friend Roxy, both Kingsman agents. An interesting detail visible in the Kingsman: The Golden Circle trailer is the presence of Harry Hart, Eggsy's former mentor, who was presumed dead after the events of the first film and now appears alive and kicking.

Based on the characters of the comic The Secret Service, created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, the world of British secret agents has never been as well-crafted and fun as it was in the first film, and this sequel seems to follow the same path, which is not bad at all. Kingsman: The Golden Circle features a cast led by Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Elton John, Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges, among others. Produced by Marv Films and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class), Kingsman: The Golden Circle will hit theaters on September 22, 2017.
