Modern motorcycles are supposedly designed around demand and performance, but I'm not convinced every change has been for the better. Maybe the problem comes down to a certain lack of personality in the new designs, something classic motorcycles have in abundance. The proof is in an excellent photo session by Paul Clifton. In every frame he manages to bring out the best in these vintage models, which frankly are a joy to behold.
Now, those with a trained eye will probably tell me, "Lisandro, a Ducati 916 isn't that vintage". Well... the 916 went on sale in 1994, so in 2019 it will turn 25 years old, but its natural beauty grants it an 'exception' so to speak. What we'll see below is just a selection of Clifton's work.
