A destroyed car, a train never removed from the tracks, half-collapsed depots, houses that have surrendered to the call of nature. For some people they are a nuisance and must disappear. For others, like the German photographer Markus Ecke Wie Kante, they can be transformed into an inexhaustible source of inspiration and wonder.
