Some have dressed up. Others got tattoos. Many people are having a truly hard time, and for others, it presented new opportunities. The pandemic continues, and with it we discover «trucos» o «mecanismos» to make it more tolerable. In the case of illustrator Mark Gagne, his creations became therapy... a therapy full of monsters and disturbing scenes that we wouldn't want to encounter even by chance... but at the same time we can't stop looking.
Gagne is an artist based in Ontario, and in recent months he decided to create a series called "Fotografía Entintada", combining scenes of gloomy and abandoned places with giant creatures, hidden monsters, and many tentacles. At times it reminds us of the art of Trevor Henderson and the legion of SCPs we have explored in the past, but Gagne notes that his inspiration is dark forests and the beings that might be living in them.
