The Creepypasta Files: SCP-162
SCP-162

“Look, but don’t touch.” How many times have you received such a warning? How many times have you ignored it? There's something irresistible in that disobedience, right? We can talk about arrogance, pride, or even freedom, and it's likely that more than once you'll get away with it without any upsets… but in these hallways, the consequences are brutal. You could bet body and mind on an act of rebellion without knowing it, with a quick death becoming a blessing. The alternative… is pain.

At first, its victims think it's not much. That's the first and last mistake they make, though you can't blame them too much. At a distance, it looks like a simple ball of twisted metal. Only when you get close enough do you understand its nature, and it might be too late. Don't ask where it came from: no one has the slightest idea, and the original file doesn't even mention an origin. Fortunately, its containment isn't that complicated. If that thing had its own will, it would be a catastrophe.

SCP-162

SCP-162. Almost two and a half meters in diameter, and a little over two meters high. A sickly ball of hooks, fishing line, needles, scissors, nails, barbed wire, and basically every imaginable metal thing with a point or edge. Anyone would think about melting that nightmare and turning it into office clips... but there's something more behind the metal. Everyone who gets too close feels an irresistible urge to touch SCP-162. The effect can last for whole weeks, with some well-documented cases of violent obsession. The security guys acted fast.

Usually there are no changes in SCP-162's size, unless it's “fed” with additional objects of similar characteristics. They become part of the metal tangle at a disturbing speed, almost as if it absorbed them. The Foundation has experimented with this... and of course, let some Class D satisfy their need for contact. The slightest touch causes several hooks to dig into the victim's skin. Any attempt to escape multiplies the effect, with more hooks, nails, needles, and fishhooks piercing the flesh. The experience is absolute torture, with pain far exceeding that caused by normal hooks and needles.

SCP-162

Anyone who tries to rescue the victim will end up seriously injured at best... or join the pain session at worst. As if that weren't enough, victims enter a kind of cycle. First they scream and plead for help desperately, and then... their faces show an expression of pleasure. Sometimes they ask to be left alone, or try to catch someone else to “share the experience”.

All those trapped in SCP-162 will die from blood loss. But it's not impossible to escape. The Foundation has resources here... other SCPs that are immune to SCP-162, or that can transfer the bodily harm of victims to their own bodies. Cross experiments are highly regulated, and only carried out with Council approval. Remember: If you feel the urge, let it be known. I imagine you don't want to end up pierced in thousands of places, screaming with pain, terror, and pleasure all at once....
