Sleep paralysis affects millions of people. It destroys the value of rest, generates stress and depression, is a direct path to insomnia, and negative experiences are burned into memory. Photographer Nicolas Bruno suffers from sleep paralysis, but through photography he has found an escape route, a way to share his demons with the public. The impressive quality of his works helps reflect the inner chaos Bruno experiences when he lays his head on the pillow. Twisted, claustrophobic and oppressive scenes. A fundamental piece for the creation of these images has been the dream journal in which Bruno has written since his high school days.
