I have to admit I didn't even know Miller's Crossing (1990) existed in the Coen brothers' filmography. I don't know what happened to me or why this masterpiece flew so low on my radar. But the truth is that the moment I heard about it, purely by accident, I turned everything off, closed the windows, made myself a coffee, and hit play. And yes, if I'm recommending it here, it's because I found it great. It's a mob movie that draws from film noir. With masterful cinematography, a script with all the necessary twists and turns, and magnificent performances, I'm glad I found it. Highly recommended.
