Almost the year is over and I hadn't even noticed. They say it's old age, but I think it's because I spend so much time in front of the PC looking for things for the Weekly Visual Dump, which accelerates the perception of time. Ufff, what a beautiful madness this animated film is! Something totally different, violent and brainy, with a narrative arc that spans decades (or perhaps centuries). The animation is rotoscoped and, at times, it's not as good as one might expect, but it becomes part of its charm once you get used to it. It's not a cartoon for children, by any means. It's closer to Fire & Ice (1983) than to Frozen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
