One of the most common questions — if not the most common — is "where do I start?" It's not a bad idea to get familiar with the tools available online, and this excellent repository containing more than 140 entries will save you hundreds of searches in the process.
The web is full of resources aimed at designers, whether professional or not. Over time, each designer develops their own style and places certain applications above others, but there are times when you need to try something different. That leads to Google, several minutes exploring links, a good dose of frustration, and the repetition of that cycle. Fortunately, there are portals whose goal is to act as a link between the designer who wants new material and the ocean of options available. A repository, if you will.
And that's how we arrive at this excellent list prepared by designer Sonu Jung, which has more than 140 tools ready to use. They are divided into categories such as Interface and Prototype Design where we find Adobe XD, Google Web Designer, MockFlow and Sketch, Tools to Understand Users, packed with material for creating surveys and product analysis, Productivity Improvement with icon generators, premium fonts and color schemes, and Graphic Resources, which is personally the most interesting. There we find classics like Pixabay, Pexels (all its images are CC0), DaFont and Lost Type.
A good part of the tools published here are free, while others require a one-time payment or follow a subscription model. Now, it would be crazy to expect that everything there is useful for the designer, but it presents a good base. The only thing we couldn't find was the last update date; however, judging by the content, it's not outdated information.
