Programming without programming. Creating software while avoiding the struggle with the whims of a language. It seems contradictory, even impossible... but the demand exists. Users with good ideas who cannot bring them to life due to lack of technical knowledge. Small companies that want to expand their online presence but can't afford to finance a professional. To them, Andromo aims, an app development platform that works by pure click, with pre-designed modules and multiple layers of customization.
Programming languages can be very intimidating. This is not only a personal opinion, but something that has become a fact for the vast majority of users. Even those who aspire to be professionals often take shortcuts or adopt alternative codes to facilitate their learning. But there is also the concept of visual programming, that is, manipulating elements and functions graphically, instead of pouring their essence into lines of code.
https://old.neoteo.com/como-desarrollar-una-aplicacion/As expected, that concept found a place in web app development. Regardless of the final quality, the truth is there are many people out there who want to create an app (whether as a business source or just for fun) and cannot do so due to technical requirements. That's when online platforms like Andromo step in. It has been with us for several years (its YouTube channel dates back to October 2013), but its mission is the same: Enable the necessary resources for the public to develop Android-compatible mobile apps without writing code.
How to Develop an Android App Without Knowing How to Program
Everything starts by creating an account and activating its seven-day trial mode. This allows us to access more than a dozen pre-programmed functions for our app, ranging from an audio player and an email client to an RSS feed and a contacts section, including modules compatible with Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, photo galleries, Flickr, maps, and the Google Play Store.
In the "Design" section we can select primary and accent colors, the background image, and the toolbar configuration. The dashboard can present the app's functions as cards, following a grid, or using a list (with or without icons), in addition to configuring secondary modifiers for each view. For example, it is possible that the standard card size is very large, but with a 3 to 1 ratio, the use of space is much more efficient.
The last section is dedicated to app monetization, but trial accounts do not have sufficient privileges to use the options available here. Almost all of Andromo's resources are unlocked once we purchase the Starter pack, with a value of $8 per month (under a 12-month contract), but for $21 a month, the Pro package eliminates the limit of apps we can create and enables the removal of the Andromo logo on the app's About page for a more personal touch. It doesn't seem like such a high price when you save yourself the learning of an entire language...
