Apple Siri settlement claims are open to qualifying original purchasers who live in the United States and bought an eligible iPhone in the United States between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. The deadline to file is Dec. 21, 2026. The presumptive payment is $25 per eligible device, but it may be reduced or increased to a maximum of $95.

Who qualifies under the settlement terms?

The published class definition requires all of the following: you must be the device’s original purchaser, live in the United States, and have bought an eligible iPhone in the United States during the covered period. The purchase must have been for personal or business use, not resale.

That window runs from June 10, 2024, through March 29, 2025. An iPhone 15 Pro bought in 2023 falls outside it, even though that model appears on the eligible-device list.

Which iPhone models are listed?

The settlement names seven eligible models:

  • iPhone 15 Pro
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max
  • iPhone 16
  • iPhone 16e
  • iPhone 16 Plus
  • iPhone 16 Pro
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max

The standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are not listed as eligible models. Meeting the model and purchase-date rules alone is not enough; the residence, purchase-location and use conditions also apply.

What the payment amounts mean

Apple agreed to contribute $250 million to the settlement fund. That is the total fund, not the amount promised to each claimant. Settlement administration and notice costs, taxes, court-awarded attorneys’ fees and litigation costs, and any service award are deducted before distributions.

For a valid claim, the presumptive payment is $25 per eligible device. The amount may be reduced or increased pro rata, up to $95 per device, depending on the number of valid claims and other factors. A claimant is not guaranteed $25 or $95.

Claim route and deadline

The claims period began Sept. 21, 2026. The settlement administrator provides separate online claim paths for individuals and businesses or other entities. A separate claim form is required for each eligible device, and the deadline to submit a claim is Dec. 21, 2026. That date is also the deadline to opt out of the settlement or object to it.

Court schedule and Apple’s response

A court granted preliminary approval on July 17, 2026. The final-approval hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2027.

The lawsuit alleges that some iPhone buyers expected certain Siri features powered by Apple Intelligence and did not receive them as expected. Apple denies the allegations and says it did nothing improper or unlawful. The settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing.
