A few days ago we talked about how fantastic the new Dragon Ball Fighterz could be. This weekend we got to see it for ourselves. The definitive Dragon Ball game is coming. Yes, we're not exaggerating, and we can vouch for it after this marvellous trailer shown at E3.

The Official Reveal

After the accidental leak that occurred days before the official presentation in Los Angeles, Arc System Works and Bandai Namco made it official. This is a game that has the characteristics of a 2D Budokai-style fighter but with camera angles and animations that make you feel immersed in the anime, defined as 2.5D.

Classic Stages and Modes

The stages shown were the classic ones: Namek, World Martial Arts Tournament, the stage of the Goku vs Vegeta battle on the rocks, and a new stage in space. We also have to say that the stages are spectacular.

The game modes shown in the trailer are the classic 1VS1 and the 3VS3, which promises a lot. As for characters, we could see the classics: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan (Cell Saga), Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu.

No one could have been left with a bad impression of this new Dragon Ball, since it's been years since we saw a game with this potential, and it might finally be on par with the new generations, as neither the Raging Blast nor Xenoverse series could rise to that level.
