Any story based on the Alien universe needs suffocation, vulnerability, darkness, abandonment. And with more than six million views in less than 48 hours, Romulus seems to tick all the boxes. A lost station, young people desperate for a better future, and the absolute brutality of the Xenomorphs, who only seek two things from humans: destroy them, or turn them into hosts. The lamp part, the motion tracker sound, the Weyland-Yutani logo, the little homages… the trailer is very good. We'll have to wait until August 16 to see the rest.
