The previous teaser managed to slip past my radar back in November… but not this time. Alien: Earth will invade streaming at some point during the boreal summer, and we are more than ready.
What do we know about the series?
First, it will be a prequel to the original film, set in 2120 (two years before, to be precise). Second, its main character is Wendy (Sydney Chandler), a 'meta-human' with "the body of an adult, and the mind of a girl". We also have Timothy Olyphant on board (he plays Cobb Vanth in the Star Wars universe), and the showrunner is Noah Hawley, the same mind behind Bones, Fargo, and Legion. The series is scheduled for 2025 on Hulu and Disney+ via Star.
