Until now, we had only seen a few videos of the universe of Horizon: Zero Dawn, a post-apocalyptic world governed by mechanized creatures. But in this new trailer we discover the story of Aloy, who embarks on a journey fighting new threats and meeting new allies to save her tribe.
Horizon Zero Dawn is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where colossal mechanized creatures (similar to dinosaurs) dominate a territory that they have taken from humanity. Civilization has regressed to hunting and gathering, surviving in tribal groups while the wild machines have become all-powerful. Here you take control of Aloy, a skilled hunter who one day discovers that her tribe is massacred by a group of mechanized troops, controlled by an enemy tribe. From that moment on, Aloy embarks on an adventure to stop this threat while discovering the secrets of a forgotten civilization before the machines took control.

Aloy is a clever and agile hunter who uses a bow to fight the mechanized creatures. The components of enemy machines, such as electricity and metal, are vital for Aloy's survival, as she can loot corpses to find useful resources for crafting weapons and tools. In addition to shooting arrows with the bow, you can fight hand-to-hand, use explosives, and even set traps to dispatch enemies.
Throughout the adventure you will have to fight enemies much larger and technologically superior to Aloy. In this type of combat you have to climb on these colossal mechanized creatures to attack their weak point (similar to Shadow of the Colossus). Some of these creatures can be hacked and serve as mounts or travel companions. The main story of Horizon Zero Dawn will guide you through the entire world, which is divided into different groups of tribes that will give you a series of side missions as you progress in the adventure. Horizon Zero Dawn is being developed by Guerrilla Games and will be available exclusively on PlayStation 4 starting February 28, 2017.
