If you are a Hip-Hop fan, we are going to recommend two environments that let you create rhythms using predefined sounds. This way you can build loops thanks to the built-in library of each platform (drums, piano, flute, bass, guitar, synthesizer, and so on). Some of the options these platforms offer include audio editing, volume control, tempo, panning, and effects, among many other features.
LMMS
We'll start with LMMS, a popular music production program that comes with an advanced studio where you can easily create Hip-Hop rhythms. The environment lets you create or edit rhythms thanks to its windowed interface; you just drag and drop loops and then start editing the beats (basses, drums, instruments, drum synthesizers, strings and pads, etc.). LMMS is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
Hydrogen
With Hydrogen you can create Hip-Hop rhythms thanks to its pattern-based drum machine that offers the following features: predefined sounds and different musical instruments. The platform also has a powerful mixer that lets you control the rhythm's volume, panning, speed, tempo, swing, and more. Hydrogen is a platform available for the Windows operating system.
With both programs you can create and edit very good Hip-Hop rhythms, then export them and use them wherever you want.
