How to install Remove.bg

First, go to the Adobe Exchange website. From there, you'll need to sign in with your Adobe credentials. Then, search for “Remove.bg for Adobe Photoshop” and install it.

This action syncs the extension with your Adobe account and installs it automatically in Photoshop through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop program. Another way to install: Download the extension (.zxp) and install it via Adobe Extension Manager CC.

How to use Remove.bg

Now you'll need to open Photoshop, add an image, and go to Window > Extensions > Remove Background. At this point, a window will open. For the first time, you'll need to enter the API key (obtained earlier). Once the API is entered, you'll see a blue “Remove Background” button from which you can already remove the background of the image.

Note: For the moment, the plugin only removes the background of an image where there is a person, animal, or object. And in its free plan, its use is limited to 50 images per month (10 MB each).

As you can see, the environment removes the background of an image automatically, and then you can add whatever background you want. But if you want to go a little further with the tool, it creates a mask on the layer, which you can adjust and make custom corrections.
