Words, a Window to Mental Health
What we say is important, but how we say it is even more relevant. The tone, speed, quantity, and quality of words can convey a lot about a person's mental health, and IBM anticipates that with advanced cognitive analysis, it will be possible to detect patterns in voice and writing associated with conditions like schizophrenia, psychosis, mania, and depression (bipolarity).
