Getting JDownloader 2 Without Adware
Usually, when we recommend a program, it’s enough to link to the official page. But JDownloader 2 is a different animal. The installers offered to the public come bundled with adware, or rather, they’re “launchers” that then download the installer with advertising. Luckily, these “extras” are optional, although there is something better: “clean” installers that ask for voluntary donations instead of coming loaded with gifts nobody wants. Another alternative is to visit the official JDownloader forum, and look for the installers there. The rest of the updates are done directly from within the program, so in one way or another the user will always receive the latest version.
