Honestly, Sony seems to be grabbing Marvel villains and anti-heroes and hurling them against the wall of its SSU, hoping one will stick. Today it's Kraven the Hunter's turn, considered one of the most ridiculous opponents Spider-Man ever faced, officially killed off in '87, brought back in 2009, and now with Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) in the lead role.
We'll also see Russell Crowe, who jumps from the MCU after his role as Zeus, and Ariana DeBose (Westworld, ISS, Argylle) as Calypso. Two things are certain: it looks better than Madame Web, and Johnny Cash fits the trailer really well. The film opens December 13.
