Puzzles, adventures, adrenaline, action, and flying kittens. Where will you find more fun than in this week's mobile games? Today you can expect games like Fotonica, LEX, Kid Chameleon, and Fly Catbug Fly!, among many others. Come play!
Fly Catbug Fly!
Arguing about which is Pendleton Ward's best creation is a pointless discussion (but it's totally Catbug, and the proof is in the great animated series Bravest Warriors). Fly Catbug Fly! is more or less an endless runner, but it's a very cute one. You have to guide Catbug through nine levels, tapping your device's screen to gain altitude and collect objects along the way, which you can deposit into portals in exchange for money. You can use this to buy upgrades, power-ups, and outfits for the adorable Catbug. It's not the most conceptually brilliant or deep game we've seen, but, well, Catbug is everything and it will keep you entertained for a good while. Developed by Ludoko Studios, Fly Catbug Fly! is available on iOS and Android.

We have rarely seen an endless runner with as much style as Fotonica. It presents itself as "a first-person game about running, jumping, feeling the speed, and discovering", and that is accurate. All you see of the character are their two hands in front of you as you run through a series of mysterious environments, full of neon lights, holding your finger on the device's screen to keep momentum, and lifting it to jump over chasms. This game is based on perfection: perfect speed, perfect timing, perfect score. Undoubtedly a difficult title, yes, but beautiful and accompanied by an excellent soundtrack. Developed by Santa Ragione, Fotonica is available on iOS and Android.
Kid Chameleon
We continue analyzing the lineup of Sega Forever games, this time with the colossal platformer Kid Chameleon. You control Casey, an ordinary boy who gains fantastic and strange powers when he puts on magical masks. Your mission is to stop Wild Side, a villain from a new arcade game who escapes into our reality and begins abducting players. Use the masks to transform into an unstoppable warrior, a high-flying superhero, or a human tank to bring him to justice. The game features more than a hundred levels full of secrets and hidden areas to explore, and nine different masks to collect, each with a different power. Developed by Sega, Kid Chameleon is available on iOS and Android.
LEX
This title is like playing Scrabble against yourself. In LEX, you are given a set of letters with which to form words, but there's a catch: all letters are on a timer, and when the timer runs out, the letter disappears. This means you need to use letters quickly, and it's precisely the most commonly used letters that disappear from the screen the fastest. It's surprisingly difficult, even for the most experienced Scrabble player. Will you rise to the challenge? There's only one way to find out. Developed by Simple Machine, LEX is available on iOS and Android.
Oscura: Second Shadow
The Aurora Stone has been stolen from the great lighthouse by an unknown, shadowy creature. Without its light, the Driftlands will be destroyed. And so Oscura, guardian of the lighthouse and owner of a mysterious ever-shining hand, must travel the lands and collect the fragments to restore the stone before it's too late. Oscura: Second Shadow is a dark and eerie platformer that makes the most of silhouette figures against a background of atmospheric colors. You'll have to travel through a shadowy land, restoring light and collecting the scattered crystals of the broken lighthouse to return the world to its former glory. Developed by Surprise Attack, Oscura: Second Shadow is available on iOS and Android.
