Qualcomm Technologies announced on November 2, 2026, that Qualcomm AI Hub is available to developers in China. The platform brings together tools to find and prepare models, integrate them into apps, and run generative AI on supported devices. Qualcomm’s announcement says the China catalog includes more than 230 pre-optimized models.

Huxiu reports an earlier access date

Huxiu reported that access to AI Hub in China began on October 21, 2026, through AWS China’s Ningxia region, operated by Ningxia Western Cloud Data Technology. That reported access date precedes Qualcomm’s November 2 announcement.

What Models, Workbench, Apps and GenieX do

AI Hub Models lets developers browse and compare model performance on supported devices and runtimes, then download models for app integration. Qualcomm says the China catalog includes models for the Chinese market as well as more than 230 pre-optimized models.

AI Hub Workbench handles custom-model development: developers can import a model, optimize and quantize it, compile it, then profile and validate it on cloud-hosted devices. Workbench offers choices among supported Snapdragon and Qualcomm Dragonwing platforms and runtimes.

AI Hub Apps provides sample applications and reference code for model integration and runtime configuration. GenieX is Qualcomm’s on-device generative-AI inference runtime. Developers can use its command-line, Python and Java interfaces to run models locally on a neural processing unit (NPU), graphics processing unit (GPU) or central processing unit (CPU).

Qualcomm names smartphones, PCs, IoT devices and other form factors as target categories for the platform. Its announcement also lists a China portal, the Qualcomm Device Cloud China device farm and developer forums as local resources.
