Unless you've been fighting aliens in Saturn's orbit, you've probably heard all about the 2024 edition of The Game Awards. Some trailers stood out above the rest (more are coming tomorrow), but if we had to pick one at the top of the list, it's definitely The Witcher 4.
Ciri steps into the center of the story, no longer as "daughter of" or "apprentice of", but as a relentless machine of destruction. The trailer was rendered in Unreal Engine 5 with "an unannounced Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card"... more than enough to have nightmares about its hardware requirements. And don't even ask about the release date. This is CD Projekt Red after all...
