Apple says AppleCare+ covers unlimited repairs for covered accidental damage, with the applicable service fee due for each incident. That means a covered repair is not generally free: the plan lowers the charge for eligible service, while the monthly or annual plan price remains separate.
India screen-repair estimates
A report published September 14, 2026, put India’s out-of-warranty screen-repair estimates at ₹36,900 for iPhone 18 Pro and ₹42,900 for iPhone 18 Pro Max. It gave the reported AppleCare+ screen-repair fee as ₹2,500 per incident. Those figures are specific to India; Apple’s US plan price and fees above apply to the US market.
When battery service has no additional fee
Apple says battery service has no additional fee when battery capacity falls below 80% of its original capacity. This condition is separate from the service fees for covered accidental damage.
