Stranded and injured in the middle of the night after a car accident, a man ventures into a mansion in search of help, unaware that the worst awaits him inside. White Night proposes a black-and-white horror adventure where the objective is to investigate and confront the nightmares that lurk within the macabre mansion.
A Night of Doubt and Terror
Set in the 1930s, White Night unfolds during a night when a man becomes the protagonist of a fatal car accident after running over a woman. But did he really hit her? Was she dead? These are the main questions that our protagonist will ask himself while looking for a safe place to call for help. But all that will change when he reaches the macabre mansion, where a series of strange events will lead him on a desperate search to discover the secrets of the past that dwell in that old and mysterious residence.
A Noir Survival Horror
With a black-and-white design accompanied by a horror atmosphere in the purest film noir style, White Night proposes a third-person adventure with exploration and puzzles where players investigate a macabre mansion in the middle of the night. The game will feature mechanics inspired by classic survival horror adventures, where in this case light will be the key to most of the mysteries held within the manor. It will serve to illuminate the dark residence in search of secret passages or to avoid the dark entities that lurk in the shadows.
Full of lunar and feminine symbolism, psychological and melancholic terror, White Night's story will develop as the player discovers the dark events hidden in the mansion in an old-style noir adventure that promises to surprise horror fans. With a dark, silent, and disturbing setting, this game may be an interesting proposal worth trying. White Night is being developed by OSome Studio and will be available on Windows, Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One starting on March 4, 2015 in the Spanish territory.
