With Databox you can explore files from several Google Drive accounts directly from its control panel. From its interface, you can connect multiple Drive accounts and view all files together in one column. This way you have everything in sight and avoid the cumbersome task of switching accounts. If you are a company or person that stores data in multiple Gsuite accounts, the solution that Databox offers is very good and easy to use.
How to use Databox
First, visit the Databox website. There you will need to register (you can do it with your Google credentials). Then you will see a pop-up window asking you to accept the platform's permissions and conditions.
Automatically, the tool will connect the Drive account associated with the registered Google account. To add another account, go to the panel on the left and click on “Accounts”.
Now you will have to select the green “Connect new account” button and add the new account (this method is the same as the first registration). The developers say that the synchronization of the accounts takes around 10 minutes, but in our tests everything has worked immediately.
In the “Accounts” section you will find the following information: status, last synchronization date, number of files in the account, and the delete account action (the latter does not work for the administrator account).
If you go to “File”, you will find all the files from all added accounts. There you can use the search bar, filter files by type, and filter by accounts.
Undoubtedly, the service that Databox offers us is very good for searching files in multiple Google Drive accounts from its interface. And the best part is that it works both on personal and commercial accounts. On the free plan, you can connect two accounts to add a maximum of 1,000 files. On commercial plans, you will not find restrictions.
