The phrase, “Kindness… in a world where kindness has gone out of fashion,” aptly describes the new Superman from James Gunn. This is the first live-action installment of the new DC Universe, beginning with Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. Although technically a teaser, there’s plenty to explore in its frames, and it all starts with a wounded Superman asking help from a classic ally.
