It's almost a month until the release of the most anticipated movie from DC Comics. And to leave us open-mouthed and drooling, the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel go at it in the final trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Finally, the final trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is now available to watch. The video focuses more on Bruce Wayne, where we see him going into action as a more veteran Batman against various criminals and noticing that he is no longer the same as before. And while Superman becomes a figure of hope for humanity, Bruce begins to have his reasons to confront the Kryptonian. Heavily outmatched in most aspects, Batman has a rough streak during the fight until, to Superman's surprise, he manages to stop his fist thanks to the power of his armor. Who will win now?
More Than a Showdown
But don't think the whole movie will be centered on the clash between the two superheroes. At some point they have to take a break to resolve their differences and unite against a greater evil. Because, besides the presence of the psychotic Alexander "Lex" Luthor, Jr. (yes, Luthor's son), Doomsday will also be present, the creature responsible for Superman's death in the comics. Luckily, the sensual Diana Prince enters the scene here, who is seen flirting with Bruce at a party, only to later reveal herself as Wonder Woman, the Amazon princess who comes to save Batman and Superman's bacon.
The Justice League
As the movie's title says, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the origin of the Justice League, where we will also see other superheroes like Cyborg, Aquaman, and Flash, as well as a possible preview of the next villain, Darkseid. The Holy Trinity is made up of Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne / Batman), Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), and Gal Gadot (Diana Prince / Wonder Woman). The rest of the cast includes Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), and Holly Hunter. Produced by DC Entertainment, Atlas Entertainment, and Cruel and Unusual Films, the film will be directed by Zack Snyder (Man of Steel). Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will premiere in theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on March 25, 2016.
