Elon Musk urged users to try Grok Bot phone calls on Nov. 3, 2026. Separately, Teslarati reported a rollout for calls to U.S. businesses, with U.S. numbers as the supported destinations.

What the reported rollout covers

Teslarati reported that creator Peter Yang said Grok Bot users could call U.S. businesses. The report described calls to U.S. numbers and did not tie access to users’ residence. Musk had described the agent on Oct. 25 as able to make a request, take notes and send a summary of the conversation.

The Comcast call and its conditional math

In a reported demonstration, Grok Bot navigated Comcast’s phone menu, declined three upsells and used a lower-priced Sonic fiber offer in the negotiation. After a call of about 25 minutes, the monthly amount reportedly changed from $84 to $45 on a faster plan. Yang approved the final terms.

That is a reported $39 monthly difference. It would add up to $468 over 12 months if the difference lasted the full year; the demonstration’s figures alone do not make that a year of realized savings.

Other calls users described

One Reddit user said Grok Bot called several insurance agents to gather quotes and information, and that the user could intervene during calls. Another commenter said a call to a restaurant worked. These are individual accounts, not guarantees of how every call will go. (Reddit discussion)

Disclosures and restrictions described in the report

Teslarati said the terms require Grok Bot to identify itself as a virtual assistant calling for the user and to warn that a call may be recorded. The report also described restrictions on marketing, mass calling and impersonation.
