The wealth of mods compatible with Grand Theft Auto V is very hard to calculate. In mid-2015 we published one of our basic lists. Then patches arrived to make the game look in 4K, and we even came across a project that introduces the very Rick Sanchez. The latest news brings us again to the modder JulioNIB's domain, who was inspired by the recent release of The Predator to throw one of the brutal alien hunters into Los Santos, a nest of chaos and violence where he will feel very comfortable…

GTA V Predator: Mod for GTA V Lets You Play as the Predator
GTA V

No, I haven't seen The Predator yet, and to be honest, time is conspiring against me, so I'll probably end up waiting for streaming or home release. At the same time, I think the world of video games still owes us a good game with a Yautja hunter as the protagonist. Something first-person, that places the Predator in different climates and faces him against dozens of strange monsters (in the style of Monster Hunter: World, maybe?). However, today we have the possibility of playing as a Yautja in a very special place: the city of Los Santos. That's right, there's a new Predator mod for GTA V, and it's a slaughter…

The Predator in GTA V

The mod is a creation of JulioNIB, who we know very well for his mods based on superheroes and supervillains. His work with Goku already passed through here, but he also dedicated time to Magneto, The Hulk, The Flash, Iron Man, Green Goblin, and even Thanos, who can create black holes and bring down giant meteorites. In the case of the Predator we find his camouflage device (obviously), an attack to stab victims and throw them, the spear (which we throw as a javelin or use to impale), the shoulder cannon (which brings down helicopters very easily), the disc that cuts everything, and of course, the nuclear detonation. It's a shame the graphics engine doesn't allow greater destruction, but it's more than enough.

The Predator mod for GTA V has several requirements, but there's no rush, because it's still a work in progress. In fact, JulioNIB's mods are not free, and they are only available to his followers on Patreon. Personally, I don't like the idea of paying for mods, however, I can't deny that he's doing excellent work.
