Rick and Morty needs no introduction these days. Cartoon Network took its time to launch season three, and took advantage of April 1st by repeating the first episode every half hour. Honestly, we have no idea when they'll present the second episode, but if you can't wait and you have a copy of GTA V installed, there are two new mods to download: Rick Sanchez himself, and his spaceship.
There are 22 episodes of 22 minutes each. 484 minutes that could be resolved in a weekend. Rick and Morty is on everyone's lips because of its humor, its acerbity, its creativity, and the torture of Cartoon Network delaying the premiere of season three. Technically it confirmed it in August 2015, but decided to release the first episode on April Fools' Day without warning. Sometimes Cartoon Network does very strange things with its most popular shows (for example, the irregularity of Adventure Time was absolutely frustrating last year), and fans... try to compensate. In the case of Rick and Morty, they developed two mods for GTA V. The results are visible.
Rick Sanchez, mad scientist, alcoholic, lunatic, amoral, nihilist, foul-mouthed, and too intelligent for his own good, armed to the teeth in the chaotic city of Los Santos. Why does it sound like he's at home? Of course, the GTA V mod is just a skin, and the detail that Rick always has his mouth open highlights the design limitations, however, that doesn't change the fact that he fits perfectly. Rick's presence would be much more complete if he had Morty as a companion (I suppose it'll be a matter of time), but at least he has his space cruiser through another mod. It's a bit unstable (its own creators admit it), but in most cases it should work fine.
If we think about it, it wouldn't be bad at all if someone decided to transform all of Los Santos into the world of Rick and Morty. And to be honest, it would be even better if an open world Rick and Morty game were developed. In some parallel universe, that may have already happened.
