Whenever we talk about this duo, we're talking about one of the best animated series in recent years. The grandfather-grandson chemistry between Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, combined with interdimensional insanity, constant criticism of the world we live in, and flawlessly executed jokes, always leaves us wanting more of Rick and Morty. A new and fourth season is on its way, and we finally have a premiere date and a trailer to let our anxiety devour us.
The series created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon will return with a new season on November 10. Adult Swim had made the announcement in May, after several cancellation rumors were debunked with a renewal of 70 episodes.
The preview reveals new characters, some classics returning like "Mr. Poopybutthole" and the "Meeseeks", and the new five episodes. Yes, only five. "Half the season they deserve, all the season we can handle" the trailer points out, which would mean this season will have half of what we usually get.
For this season, Adult Swim will have TNT and HBO streaming available for the premiere in Spain, which will be simultaneous with the US. It's still unknown what will happen with Netflix, as last year there were several short-circuits that led to the series being removed from the big N only in the US. In the rest of the world, the series remains on the red portal, but everything could change soon.
Two years have passed since the last season, and just a month away from reuniting with these delirious characters, our joy overwhelms us. So November 10 will be the awaited date for Rick and Morty to make us laugh more than once.
