As one of the most popular games, the Minecraft community always surprises us with the creation of new maps. This time, a user presents Kingdom of Galekin, a gigantic Minecraft kingdom created over the course of four years.

It's known that the Minecraft community is divided into two types: casual players, who just want to entertain themselves for a while, and creative ones, those who take their time and effort digging and gathering block after block to create a massive world. And so, every second a new world is born inside Minecraft with all kinds of creations. There are almost no limits to what can be built within this game, where we've already seen things like hard drives, a giant (and functional) phone or Manhattan at a 1:1 scale.

Kingdom of Galekin: A Four-Year Medieval Project

On this occasion, a user named Linard presents Kingdom of Galekin, a gigantic Minecraft kingdom created over four years. The project began in 2012 when the author set out to use World Painter to build this medieval-style map. For that, Linard has used a medieval-looking texture pack for his constructions with Conquest. His goal was to create the largest and most detailed map ever seen in Minecraft.

As you can see, the result is a gigantic kingdom that has almost everything a medieval world should have, but with some fantasy twists in the Minecraft style. The map is composed of multiple cities and settlements that stretch along its coastal landscape; even the interiors of the buildings are meticulously crafted. Linard hopes to get a server and use Kingdom of Galekin as the setting for an epic adventure he has planned, which sounds exciting. Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Galekin map is available for free download by clicking here. Without a doubt, we are looking at a magnificent kingdom worth visiting.
