As every year, the party for Star Wars fans lands with SW Celebration. During this weekend in the city of Chicago, we will be able to enjoy an event that grows bigger with each edition. News, previews of the new series, movies, cosplay competition, and several panels with the stars that have marked the saga.
The highlights include the announcement of Episode IX and its official name, the new series The Mandalorian, the video game SW Jedi: Fallen Order, and the Episode I: The Phantom Menace panel celebrating the 20th anniversary of the start of the second trilogy of prequels created by George Lucas. At NeoTeo we tell you everything you need to know so you don't miss a thing.
Friday 12
Episode IX: Skywalkers? (11am Chicago - 6pm Madrid)
One of the most anticipated previews at this summit is a first trailer for Episode IX, and it's very likely that today we'll get not only a preview but also the official title. According to rumors that have emerged in recent weeks, it would be called "Skywalkers". Another rumor surrounding this celebration is that it will be the end of the Skywalker family on the big screen.
The panel will feature the great Warwick Davis (Wicket), who participated in almost all the movies and will be the master of ceremonies. We will also have the presence of Kathleen Kennedy (director of Lucasfilm) and J.J. Abrams (director of Episode VII and the new film).
This new and final installment (at least for a while) has its release date in December of this year and will be directed by J.J. Abrams, who was already in charge of "Episode VII" and returns after what many considered an aberration, Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. According to Abrams himself, he says he has solved all the problems that Johnson left in Episode VIII, so we can get a little excited about a at least respectable conclusion for the saga.

Vader Immortal (VR) (1:30pm Chicago - 8:30pm Madrid)
This virtual reality project, which will be released under the banner of Industrial Light and Magic and Oculus, will review the history of Star Wars. It is a very ambitious and awaited project and will take place after the Episode IX panel.
Saturday 13
Galaxy's Edge to Life at Disney Parks (11am Chicago - 6pm Madrid)
We will have new developments about the theme park that Disney is creating in California (Disneyland Resort) and also in Florida (Walt Disney World Resort). One of the biggest attractions will be a life-size recreation of the Millennium Falcon.
In addition, it will have many interactions, from using an app on your phone to see secret places on the ship, the appearance of Chewbacca, and the atmosphere of John Williams' music.
Star Wars Rebels (12:45pm Chicago - 7:45pm Madrid)
We don't know much about what will happen with the announcement about Rebels. There have also been announcements about Clone Wars, which apparently would return with a season of twelve episodes, and also about the second season of Resistance.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (Saturday 1:30pm Chicago - 8:30pm Madrid)
Another highly anticipated release is the new video game from Respawn, which will come out for all platforms and consoles, where we will be a Padawan who must face the Galactic Empire. This happens at the moment Order 66 is executed in Episode III. So far we only know its official poster, so we are very eager to see how the gameplay will be and what differences it will have with the games released in recent times.
Sunday 14
The Mandalorian (11am Chicago - 6pm Madrid)
This series, which will have the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the leading role, has the particularity that it will be one of the first series to arrive on Disney's new streaming service, called "Disney+". Its premiere is expected for November of this year, along with Disney's digital platform.
The Mandalorian will be made by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, who will be at the Sunday panel along with several of the protagonists such as Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Monday 15
The Phantom Menace - 20 years (11am Chicago - 6pm Madrid)
This Monday we will have a special panel due to the 20 years that The Phantom Menace, the first prequel, has completed. Although it was not a hit for fans by any means, in hindsight and with new movies on the way, it is not seen with such bad eyes. In addition, these were the last productions in charge of George Lucas, whose appearance is rumored, which would be a big bombshell.
In addition, there will be several more panels, a documentary, and several graphic publications. From the official Star Wars channel, they uploaded a video explaining everything you need to know for this celebration:
