Obviously, running scripts carries natural risks, but the application Windows 11 Debloater responds with a high level of transparency, and the ability to edit each command. That makes it one of the most powerful options to clean Windows 11 and optimize your PC, however, you have to tread carefully…
None of this would be necessary if Microsoft did its job properly. The ideas of “Windows as a service” and greater freedom for users are not incompatible, but Redmond has no interest in finding the balance. So the dirty work falls to us. It’s not the first time we’ve had to dissect an operating system, and we’re convinced it won’t be the last.
With that in mind, we come to Windows 11. Needless to say, any advanced user knows what to do to return to Windows 10 or try some flavor of Linux, but Windows 11 is already the default on new computers, and we must work with it one way or another. How to Clean Windows 11 with Windows 11 Debloater
The Windows 11 Debloater interface is intimidating from the start. In fact, it’s one of the most advanced applications we’ve found, but with a little patience and the help of the official tutorial, it’s very easy to decipher. From a technical point of view, Windows 11 Debloater is a script hub, based on the work of Chris Titus Tech, and the Sophia Script developed by farag2. That means anyone interested can run the scripts manually, but Windows 11 Debloater aims to simplify the process greatly.
The starting point is the EZ Debloater section, which contains several presets. The developer recommends a minimum of three: Disable Cortana, Uninstall OneDrive, and Essential Tweaks. The first two are self-explanatory, but Essential Tweaks contains special settings to disable telemetry, disable hibernation and SuperFetch, reactivate F8 as a boot option, and apply several network tweaks. When you click on one of the presets you can see the full content on the right side of the interface, and if there’s something you don’t like, the Edit button will let you remove it.
Uncomfortable, but powerful

The rest of the tabs help us create custom scripts. Essentially, what you need to do is select the elements to process in each tab, until you get to Output, where you should click on Output PowerShell to generate the “script”, so to speak. You will definitely need to take your time with this section, and review the official video if you have doubts. Several of the scripts in the secondary tabs are already run by the Essential Tweaks preset, and it doesn’t make much sense to repeat them.
The developer has already confirmed that he plans to create a friendlier interface for Windows 11 Debloater. However, its transparency when running scripts is something other similar tools could imitate. In addition, Debloater will always try to create a restore point before running the scripts, in case something goes wrong. Personally, I haven’t detected negative effects when cleaning Windows 11 on this side, but it’s not a bad idea to experiment with a virtual environment or a temporary installation.
