An army of Parademons is preparing to invade Earth, and Batman and Wonder Woman are assembling a team made up of Aquaman, Cyborg, and Flash to face them in Justice League, the first trailer of the League of Justice.
The story of Justice League takes place months after the events of Batman v Superman. Inspired by Superman's sacrifice for humanity, Bruce Wayne recruits the help of a new ally, Diana Prince, to face a powerful enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans consisting of Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to confront this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes, it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
The Trailer
The first trailer of Justice League introduces us to the team in action in their fight against Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons who are searching for three Mother Boxes on Earth.
The Team
- Batman: the benefactor of the group of metahumans, dedicated to protecting Gotham City and equipped with a series of powerful tools and weapons.
- Wonder Woman: an immortal warrior princess who possesses superhuman strength, resistance, and agility.
- Aquaman: the king of the underwater nation of Atlantis, whose superhuman physical attributes originate from his Atlantean physiology, allowing him to summon and command aquatic animals.
- Cyborg: a former college athlete who, after an accident, is reconstructed cybernetically with a Mother Box, giving him the ability to manipulate technology.
- Flash: a forensic investigator for the Central City police who can move at superhuman speeds thanks to the Speed Force.
Justice League will be the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe following the release of Wonder Woman in the middle of this year. This adaptation features a cast led by Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, and J.K. Simmons, among others. Produced by DC Films and directed by Zack Snyder (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Justice League will be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters on November 17, 2017.
