On November 4, 2026, Vandal, iXBT Games and PC Guide reported that PlayStation France briefly displayed and then removed a page listing PSSR and Advanced Ray Tracing for Grand Theft Auto VI on PS5 Pro. Those feature names describe image processing and visual effects; the reports did not provide a game-performance result.
What the reported page listed
The page was reported to name two PS5 Pro features for GTA VI: PSSR, Sony’s upscaling technology, and Advanced Ray Tracing. The November 4 coverage said Rockstar Games had not confirmed the features at that time.
A third-party X post associated with the reported listing also circulated a screenshot of the page:
What the feature descriptions say
The reported PSSR description linked AI-enhanced resolution with sharper imagery on a 4K television. In that wording, 4K refers to the television; the description gives no GTA VI rendering-resolution figure.
The Advanced Ray Tracing description referred to reflections, shadows and lighting. It did not spell out particular GTA VI effects or graphics settings, so the label alone says little about how the game would look or run on PS5 Pro.
What the listing says about performance
https://x.com/Pirat_Nation/status/2117910428323840389/photo/1A feature label is not a frame-rate target. Vandal reported that the alleged page did not mention a 60-fps mode, and the reports supplied no measured performance comparison for GTA VI on PS5 Pro.
The broader console frame-rate discussion appeared in NeoTeo’s earlier GTA VI coverage. The PlayStation France listing described visual features, not a particular 30-, 40- or 60-fps mode.
Why the page appeared provisional
The page also reportedly referred to Atsu’s katana, associated with Ghost of Yōtei, in text about Grand Theft Auto VI. Vandal and iXBT Games interpreted the mismatch as possible copied text or a sign that the page was provisional; the cause of the reference was not established in their accounts.
