What Is Suicide Squad?
Suicide Squad is the next action movie based on the DC Comics comic of the same name. The film follows a team of antihero prisoners, composed of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, Captain Boomerang, Enchantress, Killer Croc, Katana, Slipknot, and El Diablo, who work for the United States government, carrying out high-risk covert operations in exchange for commuted prison sentences. The group operates out of Belle Reve Penitentiary under Amanda Waller, who is determined to assemble a Task Force with the most dangerous people on the planet so they can do some good.
What the Trailer Shows
As expected, most members of the Suicide Squad have abilities (Deadshot is an expert marksman while Enchantress is a powerful sorceress) that they won't hesitate to use to achieve their goals. The trailer shows some important scenes, like the appearance of Batman (Ben Affleck was present during filming) chasing the Joker and Harley Quinn in Toronto. And speaking of Batman's nemesis, what did you think of Jared Leto's portrayal of the Joker? A tip: if you're not familiar with these characters, don't hesitate to watch the animated movie Batman: Assault on Arkham, whose story focuses on the Suicide Squad while Batman acts as a secondary character.
