A Stealth-Focused Survival Horror
The Fallen World is a survival horror with RPG elements focused on stealth, set in a city invaded by ancient deities that rule with an iron fist, inflicting fear and pain to control the population. The gameplay puts you in control of a survivor who must be stealthy enough when collecting food and water, either for personal consumption or to use them as barter for a safe place to sleep—the only way to save the game. According to DarkSpace Games, the development studio, players are expected to think carefully about the actions they take and the possible allies they come across.

"From the beginning the player finds a small piece of a much larger and more intricate puzzle of objectives and loyalties that have the necessary information to solve. Putting together these motivations and actions is how the player survives," details DarkSpace Games.
The development studio also points out that The Fallen World is not going to be easy for players accustomed to an information-heavy HUD. There will be no on-screen help, offering a more immersive experience in a world where everyone is fighting to survive.
Open World and Multiple Endings
The Fallen World features an open world to explore the dark streets of the city where nefarious creatures roam. A direct physical confrontation against these enemies is suicide, so stealth is paramount when searching for resources and allies. In fact, most inhabitants are not soldiers or even gun enthusiasts. They are just people whose realities have fallen apart and, as such, are not trained to carry firearms.
The narrative is driven by the player through their actions (and consequences), leading to multiple endings. The Fallen World is being developed by DarkSpace Games and will be available on Windows. For now, the game has no concrete release date.
