In this 52nd edition, we caught glimpses of new footage from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Avengers: Infinity War, Westworld, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Yesterday was a special day for American audiences, and why not for other football fans. But there's also the movie-loving audience, since the Super Bowl halftime is no longer just for musicals but also for new releases.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
The first on this list is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The sequel starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will have a darker tone than the first. Solo: A Star Wars Story
Solo: A Star Wars Story was one of the most anticipated of the night, though they only let us see 45 seconds of this new spinoff directed by Ron Howard. Let's remember that this film was surrounded by controversy: change of directors, problems with the cast, and even a fateful prediction from Disney. The full trailer came out a few minutes ago and you can watch it here. This new Star Wars installment will hit theaters on May 23 of this year.
The Cloverfield Paradox
The next film is The Cloverfield Paradox, which will premiere on the popular platform Netflix. This installment will be the third in the saga created and produced by J.J.Abrams after Cloverfield (2008) and 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016). Although you can see the trailer below, the film premiered at the same time as the Super Bowl and you can already enjoy it.
Westworld
HBO also had its turn with its star series alongside Game Of Thrones; we're talking about Westworld and the long-awaited trailer for its second season. The series premiered in 2016, based on the 1975 film of the same name, and is set in a futuristic theme park. The series stars Evan Rachel Wood and Ed Harris and was created by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. Its premiere will be on April 22.

Perhaps the most anticipated of all, despite having seen a significant preview, is Avengers: Infinity War. The installment that will bring together practically all members of the MCU looks like a huge hit. The big enemy is Thanos, who has been slowly announced over the course of the films. April 25 is the release date and it's the most anticipated of the year for superhero lovers.
