Waymo began offering fully autonomous rides to and from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas on October 21, 2026. At launch, pickups and drop-offs were at designated autonomous-vehicle zones on the Ground Zero Level at Terminals 1 and 3. Trips could reach destinations within Waymo’s then-current 24-square-mile Las Vegas service area.

Where were the airport pickup zones?

Waymo designated its pickup and drop-off zones on the Ground Zero Level at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Riders using either terminal had a specific airport level to reach for the service.

Who could ride, and how far could a trip go?

At launch, airport access was for existing Waymo riders in Las Vegas. Waymo said it planned to add riders gradually before opening the service to everyone.

Airport trips were bounded by Waymo’s then-current 24-square-mile Las Vegas service area. The airport connection did not extend the service to destinations outside that area.

Airport approval was separate from fare authorization

KSNV reported that Nevada Transportation Authority commissioners voted in August 2026 to allow Waymo to charge fares. Serving Harry Reid International Airport required separate approval from the Clark County Department of Aviation, the outlet reported. KSNV also reported that Zoox had already been cleared to serve the airport before Waymo’s launch.

Separately, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Waymo’s sixth-generation Ojai seats four passengers.
