Neon Genesis Evangelion is an animation series that undoubtedly marked the end of the millennium in Japanese animation back in the mid-90s. It is not daring to proclaim it as the best science fiction story of the last twenty years, with all the tropes the genre demands and masterfully combined with an overdose of devastating, original, surprising and unsettling ideas. It presents the paramilitary organization NERV in its fight against hostile beings called Angels, using giant humanoids better known as Evangelions (EVA), piloted by teenagers.

Today, Neon Genesis Evangelion is a cult anime. While we wait for the release of the last film of Rebuild of Evangelion, an excellent short film titled Evangelion: Another Impact was produced. It is CG animated and begins with the verification of EVA Test V001, also known as Unit Null, before its activation, but something goes wrong and systems begin to fail, releasing the EVA in the middle of the city. A disoriented EVA, the attack of the military force, and the voice of a girl (could it be Rei Ayanami?) are the three factors that make up this story in the middle of a Tokyo in ruins.
