Filming for Avengers: Infinity War began on January 23, 2017, at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, USA. Actor Robert Downey Jr. shared a short video on his Facebook account from the set. In the video, we see Robert, Tom Holland, and Chris Pratt briefly discuss the film, while the writers and directors also comment on the grand culmination of what will be ten years of Marvel movies in 2018. Avengers: Infinity War is the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which began in May 2008 with the release of Iron Man. The Avengers team is torn apart after the events of Captain America: Civil War: Tony Stark isn't speaking to Steve Rogers, and the Avengers are practically just a name. The world is more vulnerable than ever, and Tony senses that a great threat is approaching, so he does everything in his power to keep Earth safe from Thanos, the most powerful and fearsome villain in the galaxy. In this installment, the Avengers will team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop Thanos once and for all.
